Every city has its own iconic skyline, unique culture and interesting landmarks. For the past five years, The City Works have been drawing bespoke city illustrations from around the world.

About The City Works

Originally founded in London before moving to Vienna, we’ve worked with a variety of clientele to create bespoke city illustrations. We also produce modern souvenir collections using our unique designs.

We have a detailed yet flexible style that attracts people’s attention. Magazines, products, branding and even large wall murals have featured our cities. We’ve worked alongside museums, libraries, stores, and companies. Furthermore, we’ve published books containing our bespoke city illustrations.

Custom Works

Our clients over the years have included the National Gallery London, Bruges Museums, Royal Albert Hall, Huawei, and the University of Oxford.

One example project is Museum of London. The retail arm of the museum approached us to create a custom London drawing. The result was a colourful, attractive skyline. Because of the flexibility of the design, it was applied to a comprehensive stationery range. Shortly afterwards, the collection became available from their museum shop.

Because we’re a team with a Graphic Design background, we’re able to produce city illustrations with a lot of detail within tight deadlines. Naturally, we stay within budget and communicate with our clients during every step of the design process.
