All of our trade and customer orders are dispatched from Austria.
Trade orders are dispatched via DPD with tracking numbers. Customer orders are shipped as Priority Mail, but please understand that they may not be issued with tracking numbers.
We ship to most European countries, as well as international countries such as USA and Australia via International Standard. The list of countries that we dispatch to may change periodically, so to check if we deliver to your country, please fill out your delivery details at the checkout. If your selection provides no shipping options, then please assume we do not currently deliver to you.
Customer orders are expected to arrive at their respective countries in the following number of days:
- Austria 1-3 working days.
- United Kingdom 3-5 working days.
- Europe 3-5 working days.
- USA & Canada 5-10 working days.
- International 5-10 working days.
The following information is for customer orders only, for Trade information, please contact us. Our shipping rates are dependant on the size and quantity of the item(s) you’re ordering. Delivery can range from €1.50 for local orders, to €6.95+ for orders that have tubes, like our Colour-in Posters. A percentage of the total delivery is incrementally added to the delivery for every additional item you order.
Free shipping to UK is available on orders over €50. Free shipping to Austria is available on orders of €30
Placing an order
We have a minimum order of €10. If you would like to place an order with The City Works, please visit our shop page. Here you will find all of our available products. If you’re looking for something in particular, let us know.
We currently only take payment via Paypal, an internationally secure service. For payments with a credit / debit card, you can enter your card detail via Paypal without requiring an account.
We strive to design, manufacture and package work of a consistently high quality. If you’re not happy, neither are we, and we urge you to contact us to discuss an enquiry about your order.
If you’re not happy with your purchase, and it isn’t damaged, you can return the item within 28 days. However, we only cover return postage costs on damaged or faulty items, and this is refunded after the item has been returned to us successfully.
If you contact us within 24 hours of making your purchase, it is possible to cancel your order. After this point, it is likely the product has been dispatched.
The City Works products are ironclad* in waterproof sleeves, bubbled envelopes and high-density postal tubes. We’ve done all we can to defend against handling in the delivery process, but if a product (not its packaging) is damaged upon receipt, please contact us within 7 days with a photograph of the damage visible.
Damaged returns are offered at our discretion on a case by case basis. We assess the damage and determine if it warrants a refund or replacement order and contact you with our decision. *We don’t use actual iron in our packaging, that was just a figure of speech.
