Freedom to Exist is a luxury watch brand based in the United Kingdom. They are renowned for their focus on minimalist design and quality materials. We collaborated with them to produce a custom gift wrap pattern, which features famous clock towers from around the world.
We were approached by Kirsty White, co-founder of Freedom to Exist, while we were exhibiting at Design Junction London in September 2016. To compliment their watches for their customers during the seasonal time of year, we were asked to work on a unique design in our intricate city-themed style.
With a carte-blanche brief, we tied together the concepts of time and cities and created a woven cityscape of famous clock-towers from around the globe. The monochrome design features Big Ben, the Makka Royal, the Rajabai Clocktower, the Prague Astronomical Clock and Old Joe in Birmingham.
The pattern swatch forms part of a gift-wrapping service, and is applied to a lens cleaning cloth and a gift wrap. The gift wrap is A3 sized and is printed with vegetable-based inks. You can select the design as a gift-wrapping option over on the Freedom to Exist store.
